The Cinq Barbus accompanied her to Maxim&#8217;s where they performed music-hall numbers: the VANDELS, fancy dancers, Fran\u00e7oise ADRET did a romantic dance to Liszt&#8217;s Liebstraum, Raymond GIRERD sang &#8220;Cl\u00e9mentine&#8221;. Dolor\u00e9s GRAY, invited to dance by the bearded dancers, thought there were too many of them and performed &#8220;Too many men&#8221;. Unfortunately, the warm applause was not for her but for Le\u00efla and Roger STEFANY, French Cancan dancers. A little disappointed, she took a seat next to Suzy SOLIDOR who restored her good humour by performing &#8220;La Tour de Monsieur Eiffel&#8221;.
